Spivey is a sales associate with Core Commercial - The Pinnacle Group focusing primarily on business brokerage throughout the southeast. Spivey earned a Masters in Business Administration from Coastal Carolina University as well as a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from USC-Coastal Carolina College. He also completed the Learning as Leadership training program in Sausalito, CA in 2004 and Strategic Planning for Small and Mid-Size Companies through Michigan State University in 2005. Spivey has over 20 years of experience with a highly diversified development and operational company in South Carolina where he served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. Spivey is professionally distinguished as a Certified Public Accountant. He stays involved with the evolution of the business through continuing education seminars. Spivey is an Executive Committee Member and Council Treasurer for the Pee Dee Area Council Boy Scouts of America. Spivey serves as Treasurer to the Area Recovery Cooperative, Inc and Co-Treasurer for the Grand Strand Humane Society. He is prior Director of the South Carolina Captive Insurance Association and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. Spivey is very active in Mt Vernon Baptist Church and Carolina Baptist Association.
